Please note that our trips are designed to give you the best wildlife observation possible, but if the migratory herds are in one part of the Serengeti, they won’t be in the other at the same time! Whatever your arrival time at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your Victorious vacations professional guide will be waiting for you with a warm welcoming smile. Kick back and relax in your comfortable vehicle as he takes you to your hotel in Arusha, Tanzania’s self-styled ‘safari capital.’ On your one-hour journey to the hotel, you will get a brief impression of this large, bustling, commercial city. Depending on your arrival time, you may have your pre-safari briefing today; if not, it will take place early tomorrow morning. Over night at Arusha

Start your safari off well when your guide picks you up from Arusha and whisks you away to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is in the Manyara Region of Tanzania. The Tarangire River provides most of the park's fresh water, making wildlife sightings more likely as the animals congregate near the river. Warm, sunny days are perfect for viewing Tanzania's diverse wildlife, such as a herd of 300 elephants, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, elands, and buffalo.In time for dinner, your guides will bring you back to your hotel in Tarangire after an exciting day of exploring the wilderness.

Your day will begin after breakfast by about 8:00 AM. We depart with packed lunch boxes towards Lake Natron. Located about 3.5 hours drive away from Mto Wa Mbu/Manyara, Lake Natron is a surreal destination and unique natural spectacle. Its waters are highly alkaline and are unusually shallow, averaging just one meter in depth. After checking into your lodge and a short break, put your walking shoes on as a Maasai tribesman takes you on a walk around the shores of Lake Natron on the lookout for birds, especially the lesser flamingos. Lake Natron is the most important and regular breeding site for lesser flamingos in East Africa hosting up to 2 million of them during the breeding season. The majority of egg-laying and hatching takes place from September to January. After the hike, you will head back to your camp/lodge for a well deserved dinner and rest.

In the wee hours of the morning, we embarked on a long day of game viewing in the Serengeti. This enormous park is home to various animals, from small herbivores to giant carnivores such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Enjoy dinner at the lodge where you are staying. Spend the entire day exploring the vast plains of Serengeti National Park while enjoying a great meal. Your guide will return you to your lodge within the national park after an exciting day in the wilderness, just in time for a delicious meal. Gather 'round the fire and tell tales of your wildlife adventures throughout the day.

Depending on what your driver-guide found for you yesterday and this morning, this afternoon we’ll set out to see something new. If a Mara River crossing has escaped you,perhaps the conditions this afternoon will suggest that a crossing could take place. Our driver-guides have intimate knowledge of where and when they might occur. As well as the migrating herds, the Northern Serengeti is an area where you might easily see giraffe, elephant and dik-dik: with many resident species, there’s never a dull moment.

Before leaving North Serengeti, enjoy a morning game drive and one more chance to catch a glimpse of the migrating herds, the dangers and challenges they face each year in their battle for survival. After an action-packed day, your guide transfers you to Central Serengeti, in time for a gourmet dinner at your accommodation. Cosy around the campfire and enjoy sharing stories of the day’s wildlife sightings.

You leave with your lunch for one more morning wildlife drive in the Serengeti after an early breakfast. Early dawn is frequently the greatest time to witness the excitement of the pursuit because few predators hunt during the heat of the day. Before we make the three-hour transfer to Ngorongoro Crater, take advantage of your final few moments in the Serengeti National Park. Arrive at your lodging in Ngorongoro and get comfortable in your new environment,and then enjoy a delicious meal while gazing at the same breath-taking panorama.

Following a filling breakfast, your tour guide picks you up and drives you to Lake Manyara. Despite being one of Tanzania's smaller parks, Lake Manyara National Park has one of the greatest biomass densities of large mammals in the world due to its diversified vegetation, which includes grassland, marsh, and evergreen forest. Expect to witness numerous elephant families, countless flamingos, and even lions that can scale trees. Keep an eye out for the baboons in this park, which can form groups with up to
200 individuals. After an action packed day, drive to your accommodation.
